Job Description:

Reports to:  Institutional Sales Manager

Group/Division: Team Sales

Position Summary:  We are looking for a detailed oriented, passionate, and enthusiastic individual who has the ability to leverage our worldwide brand to either grow an existing or new book of business. Our vast footprint and deep industry relationships allows us to offer some of the most competitive pricing to our customers. Candidates will work closely with our dedicated Purchasing, Customer Service, and Art teams to offer Customers the latest Equipment, Uniforms, and Spirit Gear. The right individual will have the opportunity to leverage Lacrosse Unlimited platform and pricing to grow their business across multiple industries. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with in-house team customers and new customers 

• Maintain program information in CRM system.

• Competency in product offerings, embellishments, lead times, and limitations  

• Generate and communicate Estimates, Sales Orders for Customer Review/Approval

• Understand program needs and constraints when picking goods.

• Communicate essential order information with customer and maintain relations

• Communicate art requests to Art Department and provide to customer

• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner

• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

  

Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to   perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are   representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required. 


Education/ Experience (BMQ):

Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience in Team Sales and Customer   Service. Knowledge and Experience in   the sport of Lacrosse and the associated products. Retail or customer service   experience a plus.

 

Add’l   preferences:

Must be   able to multitask with multiple customer/jobs and be able to remain organized   and detail oriented. 

 

Supervisory Responsibility:  None

 

Internal and External Contacts:

Will be interfacing directly with in-house and new customers and must   portray LU with the highest quality of service and professionalism. Will also have daily interaction with the Purchasing   and Art Department.

 

Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):

Superior operational skills of Microsoft office, strong organization,   excellent verbal and written communication skills, good mathematical and   excellent interpersonal skills.

 

Work Schedule:

8:30 AM to 5:00 PM core hours, additional hours as required.

 0-15% travel

Account Manager - Fitness Equipment

For 30 years, this fitness equipment company has been the leader in the industry for innovation and quality products.  Located in Houston, TX, the company is seeking an Account Executive to join the team at its HQ to drive the business forward.


The Accounts Executive is responsible for developing relationships and deep engagement with new and existing national channel partners.  He/She educates and influences national channel partners and end customers on the value of the company's portfolio.  He/She should fully understand the targeted verticals and drive growth in the targeted verticals and accounts.  


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attain monthly and quarterly revenue and gross margin quotas 

  • Grow revenue from existing partners and acquire new partners as needed 
  • Sell direct to end customers as needed for optimal national coverage 

Engage new and existing national channel partners and end customers 

  • Identify best practices, growth opportunities, and threats 
  • Determine and document end customer buying patterns and preferences 
  • Obtain and document channel partner business model and target markets 
  • Attend trade shows to increase engagement with key industry players 

Educate national channel partners on products and sales strategy 

  • Serve as subject matter experts on products and sales 
  • Conduct in person, virtual, and phone training sessions 
  • Provide actionable advice to channel partners to grow mutual business 
  • Leverage company's competitive advantages on product and level of service 

Hold national channel partners accountable to goals and terms of business 

  • Establish clear expectations 
  • Improve or discontinue business with underperforming partners as necessary 
  • Assist in enforcing agreed upon service levels with channel partners 

Generate product and revenue forecasts per national channel partners 

  • Obtain revenue and product volume commitments from channel partners 
  • Develop independent forecast based on channel engagement 
  • Evaluate national accounts pricing and utilize CRM to suggest what products would be more profitable for both channel partners and the company

Develop national channel partners plan by market segment based on available data and research 

  • Develop existing relationships with large national accounts and focusing on adding more product lines with greater margins to improve pricing structure 
  • Analyze national accounts that have moved their business to a competitor with the goal of bringing them back into the fold and retaining their business 
  • Develop and document actionable growth plan for each partner 

Share market intelligence with management and supporting teams effectively 

  • Serve as subject matter experts on market trends within the organization 
  • Assist in establishing service levels based on market standards 
  • Maintain clear and detailed records of relevant information in CRM 

Perform additional duties and projects as required. 


REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:

  •  50% travel 
  • Good professional references from previous employers/supervisors/co-workers 
  • 5-7 years demonstrated success in channel sales of physical products or systems 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, strong negotiating skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment 
  • Experience in indirect sales through influencing buyer 
  • Experience with utilizing CRM systems to potential 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience

  •  Base salary plus uncapped commissions

This position reports to the VP of Sales and Marketing and is located in Houston, TX.  This is not a remote work position.
